The Fresh Roast SR800 is an 8 ounce version of the Fresh Roast SR540, so you can roast enough coffee for 40 cups in one batch with wet processed beans. With dry processed beans, which produce more chaff, it can roast 6 ounces per run. The roast time can be extended by pressing the up buttons, shortened by pressing the down buttons, and ended by pressing the cool button, which starts a 4 minute cooling cycle. In addition, a fan speed control knob and 9 heat level adjustments are also available, valuable tools for the advanced roaster who wants to tailor their roast to perfection. It is 15" tall, and 8" wide.
The Coffee Roasters
Fresh roasted coffee is cheaper than pre-roasted or ground coffee. Green coffee beans roast for 5-10 minutes. It makes 14-28 cups. Rest for 1-6 hours to ensure optimal flavor. Roast coffee beans in the evening to be ready for a coffee grind & brewing the next morning. Fresh coffee roasted smells & tastes better.
A novice level coffee roaster for those interested in coffee roasting. Roast capacity is 4.2 ounces, or 4 scoops with the included measuring cup. It has an improved control board - all adjustments are made with pushing the knob and turning to adjust the heat, fan, and time. It also features a real-time temperature read out to monitor roast progress. There are 9 levels of heat adjustment compared to other brands.
The Behmor 2000 AB Plus Roaster can roast 1/4 to 1 pound of green coffee at a time, making it the largest capacity home coffee roaster available. The Behmor features patented catalytic converter technology smoke reducer, although if you roast 1 pound of coffee at a time, smoke will be produced, so put this in a well vented area when using. This machine is ideal if you want to roast a lot of coffee at once, and do not like to roast to extremely dark French Roast levels, as the Behmor has fire safeguards which strongly discourage really dark roasts.
